Apocalyptic/Sci-Fi/Dystopia for adults

Hi there, I’m looking for a book that’s based in an apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic world (like the games The Last of Us or Fallout) OR a futuristic society (like the game Cyberpunk 2077). I love anything to do with zombies or other outbreak type of apocalypses, but in general I just really like sci-fi, and creepy stuff too. I mainly read adventure stuff but my favourite genre of anything is apocalyptic dystopia and I realised recently I don’t really have any books with that description.

Some of my favourite shows, movies and video games include The Walking Dead, Love Death & Robots, Annihilation, The Last of Us I/II, Fallout, Cyberpunk 2077, and Dead Island.

I’m looking for a classic novel type of book but I’m not opposed to reading a comic/manga type story too so please let me know if you have any recommendations!
