As the tittle suggests, I’ve never been reader but I want to be one. I only read books when I am forced to like when I was in a school and I needed to read a book to pass a test. Otherwise, I don’t read. When I’ve tried to pick up a book, my mind tends to wonder and I get distracted. Then I have to go back and reread.
Are there any books that have completely captured your full attention?

What sort of things are you interested in? I’m very into horror films so I got back into reading by picking up horror books, you could also try audio books to get in the habit?
I’d suggest starting with something you’re actually interested in. What genres do you think you’d prefer?
