    Hi everyone.

I am now looking for the best books from Wales for the Read the World challenge over at r/bookclub. The book can be any length and any genre. It must be set or partially set in Wales, and the author should be from Wales, or at least currently residing in Wales (or has been a resident of Wales in the past). We are looking for "if you could only read one book from Wales, this is the one it should be" type books

    Thanks in Advance

The book must be available in English

Mabinogion is probably the most “Welsh” thing you could read – it’s basically the foundation of Welsh mythology and literature. If you want something more modern though, Richard Llewellyn’s “How Green Was My Valley” is a classic about Welsh mining communities
