In a nutshell, I just read Lose A Cheater Gain A Life, it was amazing! Tongue in cheek, witty, empowering.I would love a book with healing steps for trauma that is not somber, overly validating, NOT victim blaming, just more of a "you got this! Here's what you can do to help yourself, you badass!" vibe.
I've read lots of trauma books in the past year. I feel like I did so much research and I know the fundamentals about trauma, PTSD and CPTSD and the things causing it (I've been diagnosed), infidelity, divorce etc. I want something that helps with steps to heal.
Bonus if it uses IFS or bodywork. It could be a book, workbook, audiobook, any resource. Thank you!

I work in the field and don’t know of a book that’s witty but I’d recommend Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving by Pete Walker.
