I’m hoping for a literary first person book about a middle aged man reflecting on his life, with a bit of humour. Preferably but not necessarily on a road trip. (I find these oddly comforting.) Even something like The End of the Affair! Nothing too heavy please 🫶

Solar Bones – Mike McCormack
It’s quirky in that the whole book has no punctuation at all… There are paragraphs!!! The book is based around Mayo and Galway in Ireland. I find having been familiar most of the locations mentioned is comforting to me. Some might describe it as a heavy book. I didn’t find that, but some might.
