I’m looking for good books on solo female travellers. I want to know their joys, their sorrows, what made them feel like leaving in the first place. I want to be inspired and to be able to put myself in their shoes so I can begin to tie mine and leave as well. I hope I made some sense haha

Damn you gave me an idea thank you. I traveled solo as female to Colombia and Mexico City and it was the time of my life
How has no one mentioned “Eat Pray Love”?
I tend to search for memoirs about the country where I am traveling to and often (problematically) read memoirs by white women who have married into a different culture. For example, when I went to Jordan I read “Married to a Bedouin” and in Nepal I read “While the Gods Were Sleeping”.
Where are you going? That should help you find your book:)
