A few months ago I watched the movie Fallen (1998), and the way it managed to merge supernatural elements with detective thrillers elements really fascinated me, as I never consumed many stories that had that same premise and actually managed to make it work. It inspired me so much, in fact, that I started itching to write something similar, and I did manage to write a little before I went into the biggest creative/mental/physical breakdown ever and did nothing but watch TikTok’s and game for 6 months. Now, both my writing, my English vocabulary (as I mentioned in a previous post to this subreddit) and my reading habits are fried, so I’d like some recommendations of supernatural thrillers to try to pick up 2 out of those 3, and also try to have some fun.

I loved Needful Things by Stephen King which had that supernatural element.
