I’m trying to build a high-quality reading habit and want suggestions
based on the kind of books I’m already interested in.
Here are the books I currently have / plan to read:
• The Odyssey – Homer
• The trial – Franz Kafka
• The karamzov brothers – Fyodor Dostoevski
• Crime and Punishment – Fyodor Dostoevski
• The Courage to Be Disliked – Ichiro Kishimi
Why I’m starting to read more seriously:
I feel like constant short-form content has hurt my attention span,
and I want to relearn how to sit with ideas and develop a deeper
way of thinking and seeing the world.
I’m not looking for trendy self-help.
I’m more interested in books that:
– shape worldview and character
– reward slow, careful reading
– have lasting depth
Based on this, what would you recommend next — and in what order?
