I feel kinda burned out reading the book Im currently reading but Im excited about another one I have but Im not sure if I should finish the first one before starting the new one.
Honestly if you’re burned out just switch, life’s too short to force yourself through books you’re not feeling right now

Life is too short and there are too many great books to keep reading one I’m not enjoying.
I ditch books usually by 50pgs (sometimes way sooner) if not holding my interest.

Once i a while you’ll run in a book that’s just not your type. If is too difficult and have no passion for it just quit it.
Is just reading and you should do it for pleasure. The same way you are allowed to stop a movie you don’t like, you are also allowed to quit a book you don’t like

If you had never finished a book in your life, I would strongly encourage you to power through. However, life is too short to be forcing ourselves to (recreationally) read something that we’re just not that into. I don’t think it says anything particularly negative about you to abandon a book midway.

I tend to listen to one and eyeball read another. I tend to try and finish one before I start another of the same format, but I know plenty of people who will have multiple books going at once to match various moods.
