Hi! I just got a kindle at Half Price Books and have actually read 3 books already this year after trying to struggle through a bunch of nonfiction the last few years.
I’ve read a bunch of manga in that span though, and have really enjoyed things like My Dress Up Darling, A Business Proposal, and Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You. Big fan of rom-coms, happy to do fantasy or not.
This year I have read and enjoyed Legends and Lattes and the prequel, plus Can’t Spell Treason without Tea, but wouldn’t mind things that aren’t sapphic romance lol. Give me recs!

If you’re open to very long books, I recommend [The Hands of the Emperor](https://share.google/ID8EUnwDjqkoB35LB) by Victoria Goddard. It’s a beautifully written, slice of life book about the personal secretary to the emperor of the world, with a heavy focus on platonic relationships.
