I’ve been looking for a scary book for a while but I haven’t quite found anything that scratches the itch. I started reading The Ritual by Adam Nevill which had the right feel I’m looking for but I just couldn’t get into it! Any recommendations? I’m not really into fantasy/sci fi, more realistic horror ideally although I am partial to a good ghost story!
