So, I am craving a new series or book. I LOVED the Percy Jackson Universe, Song of Achilles, Circe, and tho I enjoy the Iliad and the Odyssey (I prefer the EV Rieu translations), I really want something clothed to Percy Jackson and Song of Achilles.

*Til We Have Faces* is a fantastic retelling of the myth of Eros and Psyche written by C S Lewis! (He also wrote the *Chronicles of Narnia*, but this book is for a more mature audience and isn’t a children’s book.)

Okay, this will sound strange but I loved it. Ilium is a book written by Dan Simmons that is a scifi re-creation of the Trojan War. It is narrated by a Trojat scholar who was brought back to life in order to witness the war and report about it to the gods. This is not a spoiler, you learn about this in chapter one.
