I just finished Treasure Island!!! By Sara Levine and loved it. Loved Big Swiss by Jen Beagin, loved Nightbitch and My Year of Rest and Relaxation. But I’m looking for something with a little less darkness and more wackiness or satire. Funny side characters or a chosen family would be a plus. New or old doesn’t matter to me. But would prefer a female author.
I did not enjoy All Fours as much as the rest of the world, but an author Miranda July adjacent might work.
