Hello, I’m wondering if anyone has recs for books with incesive writing of emotions like bokeback mountain? Or Prince or tides? (I also have power of dog by thomas savage in my tbr list. I even heard lonesome dove is really an epic character driven fresco and I hope to find get invested in that psychology).
What I mean to say is writing where the author has a clear sense of emotions, the more complicated the better, the more brutal intricate and messy the better as well. Could be about the most banal things, but I want to feel the tenacity by which people try to move through their lives.
I've been letting books like that operate as emotional regulators for me. So please any book you have read where there was a Before and an After, in terms of the perspective you have about emotional depth and intelligence
