I made a post about a month asking for books with „stupid“ plots. At that time I hadn’t read a book in years and didn’t really know anything lol. I want to post again and add some more books I really like.
I really REALLY liked Blob: A Love Story by Maggie Su! Definitely my favorite book I’ve ever read. Second to that, I enjoyed John Dies at the End, but I wasn’t too into the monsters aspect. Third, I liked Several people are typing, as well. I think what all three of these books have in common is that they’re all only a few steps away from reality and what’s possible, but still absurd. They’re all also kind of about nothing.
