I cant link it but i saw a video with the movie cliche nerdy boy trope ive always loved but never found a book on.
Essentially the guy is her chemistry partner and liked her for a long time, because of that he always helped her when they had upcoming tests. He was extremely thoughtful and kind to her ect, brought her grade up to 83%. Then he finally asks her out and she laughs at him and calls him a brother. The guy obviously gets upset, starts distancing from her and being REALLY petty so her grade drops to a 53%. Then she sees him talking to another girl who is as smart as (she gets jealous). She tries to apologise and he refuses. She ends up trying again and he has this whole speech about realising his worth.
Preferably a book where it gets resolved and they have a happy ending!
