I'm seeking recommendations for books that delve into the intricate emotions of grief and the journey of healing. Recently, I read "The Year of Magical Thinking" by Joan Didion, which profoundly resonated with me as it navigates the unpredictable waves of loss. I'd love to find other works that offer deep, reflective insights on coping with grief, whether through fiction or memoir. I'm particularly interested in stories that capture the nuances of emotional recovery and the unexpected moments of joy that can emerge amidst sorrow. If you have any favorites that explore these themes in a poignant or unique way, I would be grateful for your suggestions.

Hmm. A Grief Observed by C.S. Lewis is the only one I know of personally. It’s basically his personal journal after losing his wife to cancer.
