In a reading rut

Last fall I read Lonesome Dove, East of Eden, and Plainsong in a row. All were five star reads for me.

I haven’t liked anything I’ve read this year. It’s not really that I’m in a reading slump because I want to read more. I read Project Hail Mary, The Buffalo Hunter Hunter, and How to Read a Book. It’s not that I hated them. I just felt meh about them.

Would like some suggestions. Some of my favorite books are:

I don’t have any specific tastes. I guess I don’t read many fantasies but would be up for one.
