Every year I go to NYC with my husband and read some short stories or start a book on the metro in and out of the city. I love this tradition, and try to use the time to knock off a short classic or a “must read.” In the past I’ve read Slaughterhouse Five, The Death of Ivan Ilyich, and The Awakening. Suggest me a book or short story! It does not need to be a classic, just something that is captivating.
