Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone had any book recommendations that would be relevant to anything going on in the world currently? I’ve seen people saying about 1984, handmaids tale and the diary of Anne Frank, but wanted more. If possible, when recommending books could you add why that would be amazing 🙂

    1. Eyeless in Gaze and Brave New World by Aldus Huxley perfectly describes how addicted we are to what can provide immediate pleasure and distraction as well as point out how we are never really taught to take the time to figure everything out, with ourselves and the world.

    2. It Can’t Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis. It was written in the 1930s when fascism took hold of Europe, but this novel is about the rise of a fascist dictator in the US.
