Looking for African literature suggestions

Hi everyone,
This year I'm trying to read more literature from around the world. I would love some book suggestions from countries in Africa. I like literary fictions, historical fictions etc. Also open to any memoir or history based nonfiction. My only criteria are that they must be authors from Africa and the book is either written in or translated to English.

Here are a few books from African literature that I've read and loved:

*The Promise by Damon Galgut
* Disgrace by J.M. Coetzee
