Hello! For a little bit of background, I'm trying to dive deeper into reading as my 2026 goal since I've been lacking a lot in personal growth.
This year I started out with Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle since I've been recommended this book over and over, and even though I'm not a native English speaker, I think my grasp of the language isn't bad by any means; but I still found the book to be rather dense and the style of writing had me going back to the start of the paragraph a lot to make sure I fully understood the text.
With that said, could any of you recommend something easier to start off with? It doesn't have to be a purely philosophical work, but at least give me a book with a lesson worth learning.
I appreciate any suggestion or discussion on the topic. Thanks!
