Recommend me a book!

I'm currently reading Vianne by Joanne Harris, and as someone who was built for running/travelling but has now settled with a partner and furbabies I'm now curious as to what other books I can find with the theme of struggling to settle down after a lifetime of running. Any suggestions? I don't have any particular genre in mind, I just like to have characters I can somewhat relate to.
