I want to read a book that keeps engaged and is fun

I love reading but ive been finding it hard to find romances that dont gross me out and books that have nothing to do with intimacy at all I was starting to like the house witch but some parts were overbearing if anyone has recs like the lunar chronicles or just books that are fun and lighthearted with good writing that anyone at any age can read and love without feel uncomfortable lol
