I’m looking for somewhat “pure” legal mysteries — where the main genre is mystery, and any suspense or thriller elements are just a bonus rather than the focus.
I recently read The Widow by John Grisham and enjoyed it. Unfortunately it’s his only novel that feels like a true mystery. Yes, his other books have mystery elements, but I’m specifically looking for stories where mystery — not thriller — is the primary genre.
I’d really appreciate recommendations like that!
Thank you! 🙏
