I love realistic, very grounded fiction, so grounded it could easily happen in real life.
But sadly, a lot of said fiction is full of very flawed and crappy people.
I want something as gritty and grounded as Breaking Bad, but as friendship-positive as My Little Pony.
Closest I have come is the wonderful hospital show The Pitt.
Sure, it's full of graphic injuries and death, but 99% of the cast are good, intelligent, kind people who work together and are heroic. Conflict comes from injury, disease, and our creul and random world, not from people being very toxic to each other.
But now I desire literature!!
Anything counts. Extremely believable scifi and fantasy may too. Just aim for "realistic" stuff!
