I was tempted to read a good book with a dark academia vibe, featuring a murder mystery or a mystery. I really like detective stories, especially Stuart Turton, my favorite, and Agatha Christie. I absolutely do NOT want to read a book like The Secret History, which is too verbose, or like A Little Life, which is too traumatic. It doesn't necessarily have to be a short book, although perhaps that would be better since it would be my first time tackling a book like that. So, to recap, I'd like a book:
– With dark academia vibes
– RELAXING to read, obviously engaging is fine, but NOTHING heavy, sad, or traumatic
– Mystery, preferably a murder to solve
