I’m 25 years old and know absolutely nothing about raising a child. What book would you recommend for a complete beginner?
I’m not planning to have kids right now, but I’d like to start learning and have a better understanding of what being a parent really involves. I’m looking for something practical and beginner-friendly.
Don’t lick the mini van is a funny memoir of a mom in the thick of it.

I’m not a parent yet but I did teach young kids for a long time and I really liked How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk. It sets up a basic philosophy for all communication so you can understand your child’s unique needs and go from there.
