Looking for some books that are just fun, lighthearted, and not sexual/no spice & not graphic/no gore (e.g. a comedy that could have graphic action).
Otherwise I'm open to whatever you've got in mind genre-wise: romance, strictly comedy, sci-fi, YA, etc.
I'm a big non-fiction reader but needing to get back into fiction but not sure where to begin on finding fun, light-hearted reads which is why I'm open to whatever genre-wise within lighthearted reads.

The House on the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune is a good lighthearted read! There is a love story but no sex/spice.
Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series is perfect for this – start with Guards! Guards! or Mort. The humor is brilliant and there’s zero gore or sexual content, just clever wordplay and absurd situations that somehow make perfect sense
Also try The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Galaxy if you haven’t already. Douglas Adams writes in very similar style to Pratchett but more sci-fi focused. Both authors will get you back in fiction without any heavy topics
The Ladies Rewrite The Rules by Suzanne Allain.
Murder Your Employer by Rupert Holmes
The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi
Several People Are Typing by Calvin Kasulke
The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith is a series of light hearted books that have simple mysteries set in Rowanda, with really great characters that you will fall in love with.
I would also suggest The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman as an entry to light fantasy.
