One of the best decisions I've ever made was subscribing to this sub. I love reading, and I struggle with finding new books to read. This place changed all that.

What book was suggested to you here that lived up to the hype?

I'll start: Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry and The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden.

    1. Endurance… It’s low hanging fruit on this sub, but it is truly incredible.

The Gone World by Tom Sweterlisch as well.

More recently, Fever Dream by Keith Rosson. Although that might have been on horrorlit.

    2. Piranesi by Susanna Clarke! It had been recommended in this sub enough times that I figured I’d give it a shot. So weird but so good!

Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green. I’ve also found many great reads recommended here, including Lonesome Dove. This is indeed a great sub
