I am in search of some books that are low-stakes, in which everyone gets their happy ending. A book I loved that I think falls into this category is The Teller of Small Fortunes by Julie Leong. I love fantasy, whimsy, or small town stories.
Everything I read tends to be more on the intense, tragic side, so I am looking to give myself a break from the torment. 😂
