I know it’s hard to find smut that’s not written in first person, but I generally find that writing style to be just bad writing, lacking skill, cringe. It’s rare that it works well, imo.
Anyway, the others are obvious. My cousin keeps trying to get me to read some but the trigger warnings almost always have SA or CNC. It seems that the ones that don’t are lacking in the spice department. I’m in my late 30s – I want some real spice. Just not unwanted or cheesy spice, y’know? I usually read horror, if that helps. Stephen King is the god of my idolatry.
