Started ACOTAR maybe 3 years ago and liked it but got annoyed at the constant use of “male” and “female”. Recently started reading Blood and Ash series and it was so annoying how repetitive the dialogue is. I’ve gone back to reading ACOTAR and I’m feeling a “the grass is always greener” effect. I’ll take “a cold male voice” over another tangent about Hawke/Casteele’s stupid dimple any day.
