Can you recommend a modern book that covers all aspects of life? I mean adventure, friendship, self-discovery, romance, family, where the characters develop throughout the book. The genre doesn't matter if it's written well.
honestly “the seven husbands of evelyn hugo” hits all those boxes pretty well – you get the glamour and adventure of old hollywood, deep friendships, tons of self-discovery as evelyn tells her story, romance (multiple kinds), and complex family dynamics. the characters definately grow throughout and it’s just really well written overall
