Looking for books set in the 1980s. However, this does not mean they had to be written in the 1980s.
I like mysteries, adventures, sc-if, paranormal, and fantasy books.
However, romance is my least favorite genre (with the exception of romantic comedies)
Have any suggestions?

DeLillo’s White Noise captures Reagan’s America like no other.
Sundown motel by Simone st. James alternates between current and 80s POV. I loved the 80s vibe in it and it’s paranormal
