My favourite book is “The Fault in our stars” and it’s really resonated with me when I first read it but I’d like to have a different book to talk about, so I come to the magical book readers of Reddit, do you have anything similar in the romance or the Disability/Minority aspect that TFIOS has?

if you liked tfios, definitely check out “me and earl and the dying girl” – it’s got that same mix of humor and heavy topics but from a different perspective. also “the book thief” hits similar emotional notes even tho it’s not romance-focused. for something more recent, “they both die at teh end” by adam silvera deals with mortality in a really thoughtful way and has great representation too.
