I'm going to try my best to try to explain what I mean here.

90s kid – born in a (normal – I say that because I think before Trump era conservatives were normal) conservative family.

30s now – liberal. Still have a very trump family.

What I'm trying to understand is how we 'see' things differently. Setting fake news/real news aside, and looking at strictly what trump himself says. I don't know how people say, yes I want him to be our president. And I am not trying to make this a political post, though it is – I genuinely want to know (if there is) an explanation for why my brain at some point saw this world and thought – this is wrong. While others did not.

I know it can be a slow integration of things, a slow acceptance of things. And then it just becomes 'normalized'

I genuinely, 100% want to know how our brains function differently when it comes to this. I'm not trying to bash any trump people out there – that is not at all the intention of this post. I truly want to understand. If there are any resources anyone would feel would be insightful – I would love to hear! Thank you very much.
