I finished Perfume by Patrick Suskind yesterday, and I can't stop thinking about it. I read it very quickly, even though I found it to be quite repetitive at times, so I guess it was a page turner?
I'm especially bothered by the ending of the book (I'm not sure how to use spoilers, so I'll just be vague). Your thoughts?

It’s one of my all time favorites! I read it once a year. But the first read, I felt so grossed out I had to shower to get rid of the feeling.
The nirvana song, scentless apprentice, is about that book.
I looooved it! It was so interesting. I really loved the use of scent, which I don’t see much of in any book. Very fascinating concept. I’m obsessed with how it ended (disturbing though it was)
I found that my sense of smell was much better after reading it. The book made me start paying closer attention to odors and aromas.
