I've started reading again and I have trouble with not having a climax or twist at the end to look forward to…. I think I need some books that ease me into not expecting a big crazy ending… I'm not sure what I'm asking for but I want some books that have enjoyable and beautiful journeys that will capture me…

**The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro** it is a calm, mesmerizing read with smooth prose and deep feels that pull you in page by page, no rush or big drama. i just finished reading it, i think you will enjoy it.
