Looking for fiction in which nostalgia is a defining trait of the book.
To be clear, I’m not looking for books that are just personally nostalgic to you on the basis of personal experiences and memories but rather books that are themselves concerned with nostalgia. I think this might sound somewhat vague because I think there’s a few different ways that could go — simply put, I’m broadly interested in books that explore nostalgia as a concept or theme, whatever form that takes.
I’m especially interested in books that feature nostalgia as it is related to the changes wrought on the earth as a result of the Anthropocene, but that’s not a requirement!
