Hello, can someone please recommend me alien, monster romance books that's not just pure smut/instant attraction/lust? I'm looking for wholesome story, well developed characters, learning and growing to accept and love eachother, sprinkled with a little bit of sex. I don't mind sex, I'm not interested in reading characters banging eachother every other chapter. Bonus points if it's actual alien/monster/non-humanoid mmc, not just 7ft guys with abs, blue/red skin, horns, and two 🐓 I want the yearning, guys 😭 I want to see them work through the differences, language, cultural, anatomical barriers and put in the efforts to make the relationship work, and love eachother despite everything 🥹
