I’m looking for a book where the main character is an introverted teen boy. Preferably not too depressing, but still meaningful and well written. Something with good themes and character growth. Open to most genres as long as the story is engaging.

I’m not sure if he’s exactly introverted but I recommend the Notes of the midnight driver by Jordan Sonneblick
Neil Peel is an underdog in the Neil Peel books by Ben Dixon. They’re very funny but not non fiction as your post suggests.
