Hello! I’m just getting out of a reading slumber and i need books that’ll keep me interest from start to finish. Two books i recently read that i really loved were ‘Crying in H-Mart’ and ‘Concerning my Daughter’. I also really loved ‘I’m Glad my Mother Died’. I know it sounds like i have some serious mommy issues but i don’t, I swear lol! These are just really well written books and I am very close with my mom so i guess they made me feel something that kept me hooked yk. Also the writing being more fast paced and easy was something I really liked.
So ig im looking for easy to read books that don’t have a slow pace and most preferably have a female main character. I really like memoirs, and LGBT and feminist literature, mostly bc i can connect to it so i keeps me more hooked.
