Hey guys, I’m looking for a specific type of book genre but I don’t know what you would call it.
Basically something that has the aesthetic and feelings of the movie adaptations of “call me by your name” or “perks of being a wallflower”? Like a summer (doesn’t have to be just about one summer) where the characters go through lots of adventures but the story also has a great emotional depth.
The reason why i mentioned those books/movies is because it’s kind of important to me that things like social media do not have any if a very small role in the story. Just to amplify the nostalgia part of it, if that makes sense.
So yeah, I’d be happy for some recommendations for that if you have some! Thanks in advance 🙂
