It’s an older book, but new to me.*The Spectator Bird*, by Stegner. National book award winner. He also won a Pulitzer for a different book that he wrote. It’s also excellent.

I just finished The Road to Tender Hearts and I really enjoyed it. I got very attached to the characters.

The Borrowed Life of Frederick Fife was a wonderful read. Heartwarming & you felt like you really knew the characters personally.
