What are some of your favorite period novels? I just watched Anna Karenina the movie and I am considering to read it. Maybe there are some great period/history novels you can recommend if I enjoyed movies such as Anna Karenina, Braveheart, The king, Sense and Sensibility. Just nothing set in America.
