I've recently finished The House Of The Scorpion AND it's sequel The Lord Of Opium (by Nancy Farmer) and honestly they are both now some of my most favorite books I've ever read. only now, im finding it hard to read something that I enjoy just as much. I am halfway through "Never Let Me Go" by Kazuo Ishiguro and while it is pretty good, it just doesn't live up to how much i enjoyed The House Of The Scorpion (and it's sequel).
