I came across her book recently and read it cover to cover within a few days. I found it to be a very engaging read as she gives her story after moving to the UK, and it’s really inspiring.
are there any other such memoir-style books by similar personalities? something that leans left, feminist, inspiring, has humour, and preferably by a younger person (like Malala)

Have you read I’m Glad my Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy? I wouldn’t say it’s inspiring, it’s gut wrenching and raw. But it’s definitely memorable. Jennette has an incredible voice in it and her story is certainly moving. She does not sugar coat her experiences as a child actor. Watching the interviews she’s done after it and stuff, it’s clear that she’s worked really hard to come out the other side of her tribulations and THATS inspiring. It’s a really good read.
I loved Hijabi Butch Blues! One of my favorite memoirs
