I have recently got into audiobooks after firmly only reading physical books for my whole life!
I have come to realise that I’m not particularly keen on typical fiction type books when listening to them, and prefer it to be about an individual persons personal experience.
Some examples:
Everything I know about love by Dolly Alderton
I’m glad my mom died by Jeanette Mccurdy
I want to die but I want to eat tteokbokki by Baek See Hee
I appreciate that these books aren’t the same genre such but they give a similar vibe to me of being about one persons life instead of being a typical fiction wherein there’s lots of fleshed out characters etc etc. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!
