    Hey y'all,

I am looking for some suggestions on fiction books about the lives of fictional celebrities (singers, actors, etc). I had read some books pertaining to this and have enjoyed them. I have also found a couple that I have added to my tbr. I'll list those books below so you know what I've read and maybe have a better understanding of what I'm looking for. I enjoy when these books about fake celebrities showcase the daily life of making albums/music or being on a show/movie set. I also enjoy the "drama" and competition that they have with others and the "behind the scenes" aspects of them. I don't care how totally inaccurate or "xyz is closest to how read celebrities live". I just want to read about some fictional celebrities and their drama, lives, hardships, relationships, mentality, etc. Romance does not have to be a huge factor in the books, I'm fine either way. Can be historical or contemporary/modern.

(no spoilers please and no spoilers are listed below in my reasoning/descriptions)

    Read:

Honey by Isabel Banta: I loved this one, it's about a girl group and how they grow in the industry as they age. They also focus on being a solo artist as a female and how you are "typed" (some male artists and boy groups are involved as well). We also get a glimpse of some bts of making albums and preparing for releases, making videos and acting. There were also some cool newspaper, wiki, and magazine articles included throughout to add to it. (mid 90s-early 2000s)

Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid: The life of one of the biggest Hollywood stars (and all her relationships). Talks about her relationships (both romantic and friends) and the competitive nature of Hollywood pitting actresses/actors against one another. It also had some media elements like newspaper articles included plus the memoir/biography being made in universe for the actress. (Old Hollywood and Modern Day)

    Own:

The Griffin Sisters' Greatest Hits by Jennifer Weiner (sisters in early 2000s are a group, they breakup, the one's daughter is trying to be a star as well as find out what happened between them)

    Know of/Potentials:

    Lightning Bottles by Marissa Stapley

The Final Revival of Opal and Nev by Dawnie Walton

Meet the Newmans by Jennifer Niven

Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I also don't care if the actors are American/based in America. If an author made one based on Kpop or Korean entertainment industry (or Canadian or Australian or Chinese or French, etc etc) and it fits the criteria of fictional celebrity and essentially their life story/history of their career, I'm down.

    Thanks all!!

The Compound is about being on a fake reality show. That’s a kind of celebrity, but not singer or actor.
